Responsibilities
- Review and update schematics for compilation requirements.
- Determine layer stackup, perform component package selection, and routing feasibility studies.
- Produce printed circuit board designs for avionics supporting launch vehicles and spacecraft.
- Interface with manufacturing to ensure designs meet DFM guidelines.
- Create and maintain PCB design libraries.
- Create and release documentation for PCB fabrication.
- Collaborate with internal teams and PCB vendors to improve design rules and guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
- 1+ years of experience in electronics hardware design.
- 1+ years of experience with electrical test equipment.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software.
- Knowledge of digital communications interfaces.
- Familiarity with best layout practices for low noise design and EMI/EMC minimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding atmosphere.
