Responsibilities
- Design and own factory and production area layouts for clear visual indicators and linear flow.
- Conduct job walks with vendors, negotiate prices, and manage schedules.
- Host process walks of production lines to identify and simplify process steps.
- Execute complex projects efficiently with minimal expense.
- Lead by example to complete projects rapidly.
- Develop system and process improvements between production teams.
- Analyze delivery, capacity, and cost issues to guide production decisions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of professional or internship experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with process engineering, project management, and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or Python/R for analysis or modeling.
- Familiarity with lean, six sigma, and production principles.
- Ability to work well across teams and find optimal solutions.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on work and travel as needed.
