Responsibilities

  • Design and develop next-generation launch vehicles, launch pads, and production lines.
  • Perform hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize designs.
  • Iterate on manufacturing processes and conduct development testing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure hardware integration with all Starship systems.
  • Own large business outcomes and experience significant personal and professional growth.
  • Contribute to the production of high-performance flight hardware and a rapid launch system.
  • Witness the transition from hardware building to flying reusable rockets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
  • 1+ years of mechanical and/or fluids engineering experience.
  • Graduating in the fall of 2025, spring of 2026, or summer of 2026.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in a highly technical position or nimble engineering organization.
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to overcome challenges.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 or higher, with high standardized test scores.
