Responsibilities
- Design packaging solutions for electro-mechanical assemblies
- Conduct thermal, structural, and tolerance analysis for assemblies
- Participate in mechanical design, 3D modeling, and production drawing creation
- Perform failure analysis related to thermal, loads, vibration, and shock
- Collaborate with machine shops and production teams for design implementation
- Manage hardware delivery timeline and success through various project phases
- Lead design reviews and participate in supplier and customer reviews
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical design and analysis
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience with CAD and FEA software packages
- Knowledge of structural analysis and failure modes
- Understanding of thermal and structural FEA studies
- Familiarity with GD&T and PCB layout design
