Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, build, and implementation of custom equipment for testing satellite components.
- Work with a cross-discipline team to develop integrated test systems.
- Collaborate with production personnel and engineering teams to meet factory goals.
- Solve complex problems with an emphasis on speed and efficiency.
- Design mechanical, thermal, and fluid systems for testing.
- Ensure compliance with vehicle requirements through testing.
- Adapt roles and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with CAD software and PLM/PDM software.
- Familiarity with custom machine design and electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process development and inspection methods.
- Experience with structural analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards and GD&T.
- Ability to read drawings and fluid system schematics.
