Responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and implementation of custom production equipment for the Raptor engine.
- Collaborate with production personnel and engineering teams to meet production targets.
- Solve complex problems with an emphasis on efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Set and maintain schedules and budgets for designs.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and user needs.
- Travel to other SpaceX locations as necessary.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering projects (internship experience qualifies).
- Preferred: Master's degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
- Experience with CAD software and common manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with custom machine design and electromechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards and GD&T.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
