Responsibilities
- Design, build, and activate custom machinery for Starship production.
- Develop future production facilities for rapid build and testing.
- Collaborate with vehicle engineers to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Execute structural sizing, mechanism design, and testing.
- Create detailed models and engineering prints in NX.
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis for structures.
- Support machine activation and development testing with production teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, NX).
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical structure design or analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience in a production facility with machinery.
- Knowledge of finite element analysis and GD&T.
- Ability to meet physical requirements and pass background checks.
