Responsibilities
- Design, build, and activate custom machinery for Starship production.
- Develop future production capabilities for rapid build and test cycles.
- Collaborate with vehicle engineers on design and manufacturing processes.
- Execute structural sizing, mechanism design, and hardware fabrication.
- Create detailed models and engineering prints using NX.
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis for structures and mechanisms.
- Support machine activation and development testing with engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, NX, CATIA, ProE).
- 1+ years of experience in designing and building mechanical structures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience in a production facility with machinery.
- Knowledge of finite element analysis and GD&T.
- Physical capability to meet job requirements, including lifting and working at heights.
