Responsibilities
- Develop innovative flow control devices and mechanisms for Starship and Super Heavy systems.
- Simplify and optimize component deliveries and processes.
- Collaborate with various teams to identify the simplest engineering solutions.
- Inform system-level architecture considering component capabilities.
- Create design criteria, perform structural analysis, and generate detailed part drawings.
- Target zero in-flight anomalies and lead investigations for component failures.
- Monitor hardware performance during vehicle operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in physics or an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on manufacturing, testing, or design experience.
- Leadership or mentorship experience with effective communication skills.
- Experience in mechanical systems and related competitions.
- Strong foundation in mechanics, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
- Proficiency in CAD drawings and CNC operations.
- Willingness to obtain ATF explosives clearance.
