Responsibilities
- Design and analyze solar array components and mechanical systems for satellites.
- Prepare content for technical design reviews and ensure production outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve optimal vehicle performance.
- Provide analytical rationale for design capabilities through calculations and FEA.
- Create engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing requirements.
- Develop and execute test procedures and verification plans.
- Work with supply chain partners on design for manufacturing changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, or manufacturing.
- Experience with solar array design preferred.
- Proficient in 3D CAD and mechanical analysis tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and automation.
- Ability to perform hands-on tasks and work extended hours.
- Willingness to travel internationally if required.
