Responsibilities
- Own product success for precision machined parts with single-digit micron tolerances.
- Interface with design engineers and machinists to implement DFM feedback on hardware.
- Implement process improvements to enhance quality and throughput.
- Create justifications for large projects and oversee their implementation.
- Develop quality plans for hardware covering inspection and testing.
- Design and fabricate tooling for machining, assembly, and inspection stations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, or related discipline.
- 1+ years of engineering design experience (internships and projects included).
- Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter CAD/PDM systems preferred.
- Hands-on experience with milling, turning, and/or CMM inspection.
- Strong experience using GD&T.
- Basic understanding of industrial electrical and control systems.
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages is a plus.
