Responsibilities
- Own product success for precision machined parts with single-digit micron tolerances
- Interface with design engineers and machinists for DFM feedback
- Implement process improvements for production quality and throughput
- Create capital and facility justifications for projects
- Develop quality plans for hardware inspection and testing
- Design and fabricate tooling for machining, assembly, and inspection
- Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, or related discipline
- 1+ years of engineering design experience (internships and projects included)
- Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter CAD/PDM systems (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with milling, turning, and CMM inspection (preferred)
- Knowledge of GD&T and high precision metrology (preferred)
- Basic understanding of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems (preferred)
- Proficiency with Python or other programming language (preferred)
