Responsibilities
- Own product success for precision machined parts with single-digit micron tolerances.
- Interface with design engineers and machinists to implement DFM feedback on hardware iterations.
- Implement process improvements to enhance production quality and throughput.
- Create justifications for large projects and oversee their implementation.
- Develop quality plans for hardware inspection and testing.
- Design and fabricate tooling for machining, assembly, and inspection.
- Collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, or related field.
- 1+ years of engineering design experience (internships and projects qualify).
- Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter CAD/PDM systems preferred.
- Hands-on experience with milling, turning, and CMM inspection.
- Proficiency in GD&T and basic understanding of electrical systems.
- Basic programming experience with Python or similar languages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
