Responsibilities
- Design the factory and processes for cost-effective manufacturing of vacuum technology.
- Develop novel manufacturing procedures with partner teams.
- Manage new product introduction and production processes for TWTA assemblies.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to improve process reliability.
- Provide design feedback to enhance manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct environmental and performance testing on hardware.
- Take ownership of product outcomes throughout the development and production stages.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware design, building, testing, or troubleshooting.
- Experience managing a hardware project from concept to implementation.
- Knowledge of materials processing, particularly high-temperature processing.
- Understanding of materials science and solid mechanics principles.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours or weekends for critical deadlines.
