Responsibilities
- Design and develop structures, mechanisms, and automation equipment for high-volume production.
- Demonstrate ownership of projects from concept to production.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with flight design and production teams.
- Solve complex problems efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources while maintaining schedules and budgets.
- Assemble and commission designed equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in designing mechanical systems with CAD software.
- Experience with structural design and analysis.
- Familiarity with custom machine design and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of drafting standards and GD&T.
- Hands-on machining experience with common manufacturing machines.
- Experience with finite element analysis tools.
