Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned rocket parts and assemblies.
- Manage new product introductions and determine manufacturing methods.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews.
- Collaborate with procurement to identify and vet suppliers.
- Develop specifications for quality and manufacturing requirements.
- Explore new technologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Lead containment activities for supply chain defects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or inspection of mechanical products.
- Understanding of propulsion/fluid systems and their manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with machining and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of quality processes and statistical techniques.
- Proficient in MS Office and report writing.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours when necessary.
