Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts and solve emergent challenges at suppliers.
- Review issues on assigned parts, implementing changes to resolve root causes.
- Create and manage issue tickets, collaborating with engineering counterparts.
- Familiarize thoroughly with assigned parts and processes for supply chain defects.
- Collaborate with procurement to identify and vet exceptional suppliers.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews for early-stage manufacturability.
- Lead the new product introduction (NPI) process and production part approval process (PPAP).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or inspection of mechanical products.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in engineering.
- Experience with machining operations (milling, turning, tube cutting).
- Familiarity with interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of supplier quality processes and statistical techniques.
- Proficient in MS Office, SQL, and PowerBI.
