Responsibilities
- Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts, addressing manufacturing and quality challenges.
- Review and resolve issues on assigned parts, implementing necessary changes.
- Create and manage issue tickets, collaborating with engineering teams.
- Conduct design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews to ensure manufacturability.
- Work with procurement to identify and vet exceptional suppliers.
- Own the new product introduction (NPI) process for new or re-sourced parts.
- Drive the production part approval process (PPAP) to ensure stable supply.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or inspection of mechanical products.
- Familiarity with machining processes and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of supplier quality processes and statistical techniques.
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel applications.
- Willingness to travel up to 60-85% of the work week.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
