Responsibilities
- Improve quality, cost, delivery, and capacity metrics for mechanical hardware.
- Collaborate with design, materials, and manufacturing engineers for project insights.
- Support procurement by assessing supplier manufacturing processes.
- Define supplier technical and quality requirements for production phases.
- Lead resolution of supplier quality issues and ensure compliance.
- Analyze supplier quality metrics to identify performance gaps.
- Conduct research to identify potential new suppliers and capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain engineering, or related fields.
- Master’s degree preferred in engineering, business, or supply chain.
- Manufacturing experience in CNC, Injection Molding, or Castings.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and metrology tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the work week.
