Responsibilities
- Operate as a systems level engineer to collect production requirements and execute the build, integration, and validation of flight hardware.
- Design and implement tooling solutions to improve quality and accelerate production.
- Automate processes to ensure repeatability on a large scale production line.
- Prove that a subsystem work center meets cycle time requirements or own necessary design changes.
- Become a subject matter expert on vehicle level systems such as propellant feed systems and avionics.
- Generate and maintain design for manufacturing requirements for processes used in building mainline systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence vehicle architecture with a focus on reliability and manufacturability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on engineering experience (including internships).
- Preferred: Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Preferred: 2+ years of professional experience in aerospace/mechanical engineering.
- Experience with GD&T concepts and process development.
- Familiarity with CAD, PLM, and automation systems.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
