Responsibilities
- Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes
- Collaborate with the mechanical design team for manufacturability
- Lead prototype builds and ensure production milestones are met
- Ensure manufacturing systems meet volume, cost, and quality targets
- Lead facilities development and material flow definition
- Identify tooling and hardware requirements for production
- Implement automation solutions and evaluate their ROI
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in high-volume commercial or automotive manufacturing
- Ability to transition products from design to manufacturing
- Experience with DOE, gage R&R, and process qualifications
- Ability to design tooling for high-volume manufacturing
- Experience with ERP, MRP, and MES systems
