Responsibilities
- Design the factory and processes for manufacturing vacuum technology.
- Develop novel manufacturing procedures in collaboration with partner teams.
- Manage new product introduction and production processes for TWTA assemblies.
- Implement process improvements with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Provide design feedback to enhance manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
- Perform environmental and performance testing on hardware.
- Take ownership of product outcomes throughout development and production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware design, building, testing, or troubleshooting.
- Experience with full-cycle ownership of hardware projects.
- Knowledge of materials processing and high-temperature processing.
- Understanding of materials science and solid mechanics principles.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours for critical deadlines.
