Responsibilities
- Own and manage PCBA manufacturing processes and products for in-house production.
- Drive processes for volume production of PCBA, including manufacturing execution and process control.
- Manage new product introduction of PCBA assemblies, collaborating with design engineers.
- Use process capability analysis and gauge R&R to lead new equipment selection.
- Design and implement systems to enhance the safety of the PCBA production line.
- Track schedule, work-in-progress levels, and defect rates of owned products.
- Identify trends for optimizing product output and quality enhancements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related fields.
- High volume production experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SMT processing and PCBA processes.
- Knowledge of IPC manufacturing standards.
- Experience with statistical techniques and Six Sigma.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and use data for systemic improvements.
