Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for product design and process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Analyze manufacturing discrepancies and collaborate with the quality team on root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Create and manage manufacturing BOMs, work instructions, and specifications.
- Communicate daily with production, machining, maintenance, quality, and design engineering departments to ensure timely product delivery.
- Utilize project management skills to lead projects aimed at reducing costs or improving quality and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in design, development, manufacturing, or testing (internship and project experience included).
- Experience with CNC machinery and CAM programming.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX & Teamcenter).
- Experience in tooling design and design for manufacturability.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar high-performance culture systems.
