Responsibilities
- Drive and identify projects to enhance the robustness and repeatability of printer platforms.
- Collaborate with a team to design, develop, and test all facets of the additive process.
- Implement process improvement efforts for the additive manufacturing process.
- Work with the design team to optimize features for additive manufacturing.
- Generate and optimize build files for high-quality part production.
- Collaborate with materials engineers to develop optimal print parameters for alloys.
- Document best practices and identify safety improvements in the manufacturing process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, or project management experience.
- Experience operating additive machines and developing parameters.
- Knowledge of additive and subtractive manufacturing techniques for metals.
- Familiarity with aerospace design and test specifications.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting recommendations.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, collaborative environment.
