Responsibilities
- Drive and identify projects to enhance printer platforms' robustness and repeatability.
- Contribute to the design, development, and testing of additive processes.
- Implement process improvements throughout the additive manufacturing steps.
- Collaborate with the design team to optimize features for additive manufacturing.
- Generate and optimize build files for high-quality part production.
- Work with materials engineers to develop optimal print parameters for alloys.
- Develop systems for efficient data collection and process analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, or project management experience.
- Preferred: Master's degree in aeronautical, astronautical, or mechanical engineering.
- Experience with additive machines and process control.
- Knowledge of aerospace design and test specifications.
- Familiarity with engineering materials properties, especially for titanium or nickel-based alloys.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
