Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and build systems supporting rocket launches and testing.
- Manage projects from design reviews to equipment procurement and construction.
- Design modular hardware for manufacturing at future launch sites.
- Apply interdisciplinary engineering skills for system-level process design and analysis.
- Collaborate with technicians to build designs and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain communication with the launch operations team to adapt plans as needed.
- Activate and troubleshoot equipment to achieve design objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of hands-on build or design experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
- Experience with fluid and structural/mechanical systems.
- General hands-on experience with fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD (NX preferred).
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments and perform physically demanding tasks.
