Responsibilities
- Design and execute long-term reliability tests during initial product development and qualification.
- Collaborate with design engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and process reliability for flight hardware.
- Develop, implement, and validate test and inspection processes for new and existing products.
- Investigate anomalies and failures in test, production, and fleet operations to identify root causes.
- Drive corrective actions to prevent factory escapes of defective hardware.
- Support continuous improvement and the advancement of an autonomous production system.
- Contain suspect or known non-conforming products and guide quality inspectors and technicians.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years in a manufacturing, quality, and/or design engineering role.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Programming experience in Python, C, or SQL.
- Background in electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of quality tools like Lean principles and statistical process control.
- Experience in a fast-paced, iterative design environment.
