Responsibilities
- Manage the supply base for raw materials supporting flight and development programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide goals.
- Ensure the supply base has adequate manufacturing capacity and quality for production ramp-up.
- Provide guidance on design manufacturability and supply chain optimization.
- Assess supplier capabilities for new product development and production.
- Monitor costs to adhere to project budgets and develop cost models.
- Drive continuous process improvement and cost-saving programs with suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree and 4+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree and 6+ years, or 10+ years of experience in relevant fields.
- Experience in sourcing from a global supply base and managing large contracts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Technical procurement and New Product Introduction experience.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the work week.
