Responsibilities
- Manage the supply base for critical raw materials for flight and development programs.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide goals.
- Leverage demand forecasts to ensure adequate manufacturing capacity and quality yield.
- Provide guidance on design for manufacturability and cost reduction strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering on design reviews and supplier quality requirements.
- Assess supplier capabilities for new product development and long-term production.
- Monitor and manage costs to adhere to project budgets and forecasts.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree with 4+ years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in relevant fields.
- Experience in sourcing from a global supply base and managing large contracts.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Technical procurement and production experience.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
