Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with raw material mills and distributors worldwide.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide goals.
- Ensure supply base has adequate capacity and quality for vehicle production.
- Provide guidance on design for manufacturability and cost reduction strategies.
- Assess supplier capabilities for new product development and production.
- Monitor costs and maintain project-specific budgets.
- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree with 4+ years or bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record managing large value contracts.
- Technical procurement and New Product Introduction experience.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and work extended hours as needed.
