Responsibilities
- Manage the supply base for critical commodities related to the Raptor product line.
- Monitor trends and manage costs of parts, mitigating cost increases through supplier relationships.
- Ensure the supply base has the capacity and quality yield to support production ramp-up.
- Provide guidance on design for manufacturability and cost reduction strategies.
- Conduct supplier analysis for sourcing decisions and assess technical capabilities.
- Develop should-cost models and educate junior team members on cost management.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree with 4+ years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in CNC machined parts, forgings, or raw materials.
- Strong background in supply chain management and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and quality documents.
- Ability to manage large contracts and navigate dynamic configuration changes.
- Exceptional communication skills for summarizing risks and strategies to leadership.
- Detail-oriented with a self-motivated approach in a fast-paced environment.
