Responsibilities
- Manage the supply base for critical commodities/categories for the Raptor product line.
- Monitor trends and manage costs of parts, mitigating increases through supplier relationships.
- Ensure manufacturing capacity and quality yield align with production demands.
- Provide guidance on design for manufacturability and supply chain optimization.
- Conduct supplier analysis for sourcing decisions and manage contracts.
- Visit suppliers to assess technical capability and implement product life cycle management.
- Develop should-cost models for cost analysis and educate junior team members on cost reduction strategies.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree and 4+ years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 6+ years in relevant fields.
- Experience in supply chain management and contract negotiation.
- Proven ability to optimize machining supply chains and manage large contracts.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and quality documents.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Ability to travel and work extended hours as needed.
