Global Supply Manager, Harness (Starlink)

The Global Supply Manager for Harness at SpaceX is responsible for leading a sourcing team focused on wire harnesses and associated mechanical components, managing the supply base, and ensuring alignment with engineering and program priorities.

• Lead a sourcing team focused on harness commodities.
• Develop and manage the supply base for wire harnesses and connectors.
• Coordinate with sub-assembly teams to align schedules with satellite planning.
• Partner with engineering and supply chain leadership for sourcing decisions.
• Drive improvements in drawing releases and BOM communication processes.
• Create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and align with company goals.
• Present value propositions to executives regarding sourcing and cost management.

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 4+ years.
• Experience in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• 3+ years of procurement experience in interconnects or wire harnesses.
• Strong track record in operational improvements and new product introduction.
• Technical knowledge of harness and connector components.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Ability to work extended hours and travel up to 30% of the time.
