Facilities Engineer, Electrical (Starlink)

The Facilities Engineer, Electrical (Starlink) at SpaceX is responsible for designing, building, and activating advanced manufacturing facilities, focusing on electrical systems for new construction projects.

• Design detailed electrical specifications for various systems including power distribution and lighting.
• Provide electrical engineering support for troubleshooting existing electrical equipment.
• Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
• Ensure all electrical installations conform to applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinate electrical installations with local utilities.
• Provide code review and analysis for electrical designs.
• Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines on projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical projects and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read and understand power and control schematics.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Experience with variable frequency drives and medium-voltage distribution.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform hands-on work in various environments.
