Responsibilities
- Design and provide specifications for electrical power distribution systems and related equipment.
- Support facility technicians in troubleshooting existing electrical equipment and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis and evaluate electrical equipment.
- Ensure electrical designs conform to applicable codes and regulations.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with local utilities.
- Provide engineering support for the operation and troubleshooting of facility electrical systems.
- Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines on projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical projects, power distribution systems, and switchgear.
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in a similar role and a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives and medium-voltage distribution.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to perform hands-on work in various environments and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
