Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select or design hardware to measure signals and apply loads during testing.
- Write automation software in Python for testing and data collection.
- Support hardware through production and satellite integration.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver integrated hardware.
- Conduct electrical bench testing and analyze failures to inform design improvements.
- Drive improvements in designs using physical and digital tools for data analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering (internship included).
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and C/C++.
- Experience with circuit analysis and functional test plan development.
- Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Experience in environmental testing such as HALT/HASS, thermal, and vibration testing.
