Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select commercial-off-the-shelf hardware or design custom PCBAs for testing.
- Write automation software in Python for interacting with units under test.
- Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver integrated hardware.
- Perform electrical bench testing and analyze failures to inform design improvements.
- Drive continual improvements by analyzing data collected from tests and on-orbit operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a related STEM field.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering (internship acceptable).
- Strong understanding of programming languages, especially Python and C/C++.
- Experience with circuit analysis and functional test plan development.
- Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques for product verification.
- Understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Experience in environmental testing methodologies.
