Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select and design custom PCBAs to measure signals and apply loads.
- Write automation software in Python for testing and data interaction.
- Support hardware through production and satellite integration.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver integrated hardware.
- Conduct electrical bench testing and develop engineering models of failures.
- Drive improvements to designs using collected data from tests.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or related STEM field.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering.
- Strong understanding of programming languages like Python and C/C++.
- Experience with circuit analysis and functional test plans.
- Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Knowledge of environmental testing methods.
