Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select and design custom PCBAs to measure signals and apply flight-like loads.
- Write automation software in Python for testing and instrumentation.
- Support hardware through production and satellite integration.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver high-performance hardware.
- Perform electrical bench testing and develop engineering models of failures.
- Drive improvements by building tools to analyze on-orbit and lab data.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or related STEM discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering.
- Strong understanding of programming languages (Python, C/C++).
- Experience in analyzing circuits and developing functional test plans.
- Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Experience in environmental testing such as HALT/HASS, thermal, and vibration.
