Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test solutions for avionics and payload hardware.
- Select or design custom PCBAs for testing signals and applying loads.
- Write automation software in Python for testing equipment and data systems.
- Support hardware through production and satellite integration.
- Collaborate with engineers from different disciplines to deliver integrated hardware.
- Perform electrical bench testing and analyze failures to inform design improvements.
- Drive continual improvements in design through data analysis and tool development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related STEM field.
- 1+ years of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering.
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Python and C/C++.
- Experience with circuit analysis and developing functional test plans.
- Familiarity with test equipment and measurement techniques.
- Understanding of electronics reliability and failure mechanisms.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional role and meet critical deadlines.
