Responsibilities
- Design wiring diagrams, wire routing drawings, and load analysis for various aircraft types.
- Find creative solutions to unique aircraft electrical problems.
- Support certification efforts by documenting and presenting electrical design and analysis.
- Supplement aircraft manuals for the installation and troubleshooting of Starlink components.
- Serve as the front line electrical engineering support for Starlink aviation.
- Conduct root cause investigations of electrical issues.
- Participate in every step of the aircraft integration process.
Job Requirements
- 1+ years of industry experience, including internships or co-op.
- Experience in designing electrical systems and wire harness design.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or other STEM disciplines.
- Preferred: 3+ years of hands-on experience in avionics or aircraft electrical systems integration.
- Proficiency in understanding aircraft wiring manuals and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with avionics integration, including wiring installation and electrical testing.
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel internationally as needed.
