Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for Starship launch pad systems, including power distribution and motor control.
- Design industrial electrical control panels and power distribution systems according to standards.
- Develop electrical schematics and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with utilities for reliable power delivery to launch pad equipment.
- Support integration of electrical systems with high-power equipment and instrumentation.
- Provide real-time field support during construction and testing.
- Manage electrical subcontractors and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 1+ year of experience in design, build, or commissioning of electrical systems.
- Experience designing electrical systems in industries such as electric vehicles or industrial automation.
- Familiarity with motor control centers and electrical codes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with technicians.
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.
- Ability to pass background checks for Space Force and work outdoors in various conditions.
