Responsibilities
- Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for various electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment, switchgear, and controllers.
- Conduct load flow analysis of electrical power distribution systems.
- Ensure compatibility of electrical designs with facility power budgets.
- Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance activities with local electrical utilities personnel.
- Ensure compliance of electrical designs and installations with applicable codes and regulations.
- Perform code review and analysis utilizing NFPA standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 1+ years of professional experience in electrical systems design, build, or commissioning.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in power distribution systems and switchgear.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and operation manuals.
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.
