Responsibilities
- Develop high reliability spacecraft electronics for Crew Starship vehicles.
- Support or act as responsible engineer for flight hardware from conception through flight operations.
- Perform component selection, design analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, debugging, and design documentation for electrical designs.
- Assist with electrical architecture, product requirements, manufacturing planning, and production testing.
- Execute development and qualification testing campaigns to ensure reliable flight hardware.
- Directly support NASA with deliverables for Crew Starship milestones.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient, manufacturable, and reliable systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 1+ years of experience designing, building, or testing circuit boards or electronics.
- Passion for spaceflight and designing high reliability electronics.
- Experience with signal conditioning, analog circuits, digital circuits, and power converters.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and board layout tools, preferably Altium or Circuit Maker.
- Basic understanding of EMI/EMC and design-for-manufacture principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
