Responsibilities
- Integrate and commission electromechanical systems using various tools and equipment.
- Build electrical control panels to NFPA 79 & UL 508A standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with engineering for design feedback and process improvements.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering sketches.
- Install and modify electrical enclosures and conveyances.
- Fabricate and repair cable harnesses, including crimping and soldering.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 4+ years of experience with electrical systems.
- Occupational trade school qualification in an electrical field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NFPA 70, 70E, 79 & UL508A).
- Understanding of electrical fundamentals (Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's law, etc.).
- Experience with multimeters and various electrical tools.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently.
