Responsibilities
- Rapidly develop high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
- Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, and analysis.
- Oversee schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, hardware bring-up, and debugging.
- Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
- Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to deliver integrated hardware.
- Challenge assumptions and approach problems with an open mind.
- Document and manage the performance of complex electrical designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics.
- 1+ years of experience in designing circuits or electronic products.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of professional experience.
- Experience in designing hardware from concept through production.
- Proficiency in mixed-signal circuit boards and various electronic components.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and C/C++.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional role and on aerospace systems.
