Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce manufacturing processes and consistency across work centers.
- Identify and implement solutions to reliability gaps in manufacturing/design.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for flight hardware.
- Monitor product and process success during production ramp-up using quality tools.
- Conduct build quality reviews and identify opportunities for risk reduction.
- Investigate production failures to improve reliability and mitigate risks.
- Design and document inspection requirements and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years in a manufacturing, quality, or design engineering role.
- Experience with aerospace components and manufacturing processes.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of quality tools and process controls.
- Experience with complex mechanical/structural assemblies and fluid systems.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
