Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing, integration, assembly, welding, and checkout processes.
- Identify and implement solutions to reliability gaps in manufacturing/design processes.
- Collaborate with design engineering and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for flight hardware.
- Monitor product and process success through production ramp-up using quality analysis tools.
- Conduct build quality reviews to ensure design intent and identify opportunities for risk reduction.
- Investigate production failures and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Design and implement tooling for various testing and assembly processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics.
- 1+ years in a manufacturing, quality, or design engineering role.
- Experience with aerospace components such as valves and fluid systems preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of process controls and quality tools.
- Ability to work extended hours and offsite as needed.
- U.S. citizenship or eligibility for required authorizations due to ITAR regulations.
