Responsibilities
- Maintain operational capability of control voltage level electrical systems.
- Develop and upgrade data acquisition and control systems.
- Provide technical support for controls technicians and other engineering groups.
- Lead shifts of technicians and/or contractors efficiently.
- Develop new hardware and processes for ground support electrical systems.
- Analyze data to assess the function of electrical systems.
- Assist with detailed CAD modeling and electrical schematic designs.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 2+ years of experience in a controls technician or specialist role.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards (NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a high-paced environment.
- Experience with industrial electronics such as PLCs and VFDs.
- Hands-on experience with data acquisition and control hardware.
