Responsibilities
- Lead development of new product designs, systems, and processes for AR technologies.
- Perform opto-mechanical and electromechanical system design from concept through production.
- Drive troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and validation of complex mechanical systems.
- Execute tolerance analyses for precision opto-mechanical assemblies.
- Plan and execute design of experiments (DOE) and apply design-for-manufacturing principles.
- Manage technical deliverables from external partners to address yield and quality issues.
- Support fabrication, assembly, and bring-up of mechanical systems with some electrical integration.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and product design.
- Minimum 3 years of experience using SolidWorks and Siemens NX.
- Experience with near-eye devices, augmented reality, camera modules, or display technologies preferred.
- Proven experience designing and validating thermal management solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in GD&T application and interpretation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
