Responsibilities
- Collaborate with embedded, hardware, wireless, software, and autonomy teams to derive specifications and develop subsystem architectures.
- Develop methods to simulate, quantify, analyze, and present proposals and designs for platforms and subsystems.
- Drive architecture specifications down to component level selection and development.
- Build and maintain in-house tools for system and subsystem level characterization and validation.
- Contribute to product development and factory bringup processes.
- Assist in the integration of mechanical assemblies, electronics, and embedded software.
- Report data analysis and conclusions clearly and effectively.
Job Requirements
- Good software development skills in Python and C/C++.
- Some experience in embedded systems development.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Experience with systems integrating imaging, ranging, compute, motor control, communication, sensing, or payloads.
- Passion for developing new technology for autonomous flying robots.
- Self-starter attitude with a collaborative mindset.
- Enrollment in a relevant degree program (Undergraduate, Graduate, or PhD).
