Responsibilities
- Collaborate with embedded, hardware, wireless, software, and autonomy teams.
- Develop methods to simulate, quantify, analyze, and present designs for platforms and subsystems.
- Drive architecture specifications down to component level selection and development.
- Maintain in-house tools for system and subsystem characterization, development, and validation.
- Work on system integration involving imaging, ranging, and motor control technologies.
- Write clean and efficient code in Python and C/C++.
- Report data analysis and conclusions effectively.
Job Requirements
- Experience in one of Skydio’s core focus areas.
- Good software development skills, particularly in Python and C/C++.
- Some experience in embedded systems development.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Familiarity with systems integrating imaging, ranging, and advanced compute technologies.
- Passion for developing new technology for autonomous flying robots.
- Self-starter attitude with a drive for innovation.
