Responsibilities
- Develop global strategic sourcing strategies based on business needs and market conditions.
- Lead sourcing and procurement processes for camera components, including negotiations and contract management.
- Align GSM strategy with Skydio’s business and production strategies.
- Drive negotiations on pricing and product development with suppliers.
- Maintain effective supplier relationships through evaluations and audits.
- Identify new sources to enhance technology and ensure supply continuity.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on optical technologies and camera systems.
Job Requirements
- MBA + BA/BS in a technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement of complex components.
- Preferred experience in optical or camera supply chains.
- Skills in interpreting specifications, cost analysis, and commodity mapping.
- Ability to perform supplier assessments and market analysis.
- Experience in manufacturing operations or supply management.
- Strong presentation skills to communicate with various organizational levels.
