Responsibilities
- Develop technology and commodity roadmaps for current and future programs.
- Execute strategic sourcing plans for silicon components, including market research and supplier evaluation.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sourcing decisions.
- Cultivate relationships with supply chain partners and manage vendor selection and transactions.
- Drive price negotiation processes and analyze current spend and suppliers.
- Monitor market conditions and identify supply/demand challenges.
- Prepare and present quantitative and qualitative analyses of sourcing alternatives.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and purchasing processes.
- Experience in directing complex negotiations and cost/price analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and adapt to changes.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
- Technical degree or comparable work experience required.
- Interest in emerging technologies in consumer electronics, aerospace, and robotics.
- Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days is encouraged.
