Responsibilities
- Create assembly work instructions for new sub-assemblies or stations.
- Design and prototype assembly fixtures/jigs using CAD software.
- Execute lean improvements (5S/Kaizen) in the manufacturing process.
- Evaluate and execute updates to equipment and stations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Document processes and improvements clearly.
- Participate in hands-on assembly work and prototyping.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Hands-on assembly experience and familiarity with basic tools and soldering.
- CAD experience (Fusion360 or Catia) for creating fixture concepts.
- Knowledge of GD&T, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts and data collection methods.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment.
