Responsibilities
- Work on assigned projects for a minimum of 6 months, starting in June 2026.
- Develop slurry and coating recipes utilizing tabletop mixing and coating processes.
- Investigate relationships between electrode components and cell performance.
- Plan and execute experiments on slurry formulation and cell processing effects.
- Build and operationalize new processes and analytics related to slurry and coating.
- Identify safety hazards and implement improvements collaboratively.
Job Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in academic or industrial R&D environments (battery-related is a plus).
- Academic focus in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer science, physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in experimental design methods and statistical data analysis.
- Strong commitment to documenting procedures and results.
- Familiarity with collaborative problem-solving practices.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment and handle materials safely.
- Capability to operate analytical equipment and handle physical demands of the role.
