Responsibilities
- Spend a minimum of 6 months onsite working on assigned projects.
- Develop slurry and coating recipes using tabletop mixing and coating processes.
- Understand and explain relationships between electrode components and cell performance.
- Plan and execute experiments on slurry formulation effects on mechanical and electrochemical properties.
- Build and operationalize new processes and analytics for slurry and coating with data collection.
- Identify safety hazards and implement improvements collaboratively.
Job Requirements
- At least 6 months of prior experience in R&D environments (battery-related experience is a plus).
- Academic focus in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer science, physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in experimental design methods and statistical data analysis.
- Strong documentation skills for procedures and results.
- Familiarity with collaborative problem-solving best practices.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the role, including using personal protective equipment and moving materials.
- Experience with analytical equipment and lab protocols.
