Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test mechanical structures and systems.
- Conceptualize and deliver complex mechanical products throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
- Utilize Computer Aided Engineering tools in the design process.
- Ensure compliance with engineering principles and practices.
- Participate in the certification and deployment of new products.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing products and processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
- Conceptual knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry preferred.
- Knowledge of engineering simulation techniques like FEA and CFD.
