Product/Mechanical Engineer, Creo

The Product Engineer at Siemens will be responsible for the design and development of new products and modifications to existing products at the Grand Prairie, TX factory, focusing on engineered circuit breakers.

• Engineer mechanical parts, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs for electrical equipment.
• Provide engineering support and technical assistance on design feasibility.
• Assist in planning detailed product development objectives.
• Participate in reviewing product performance.
• Assist in standardizing materials and components.
• Learn product engineering basics while developing new products.

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years’ experience with ProE/Creo; recent graduates considered.
• Experience in product development or design.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Preferred experience with PowerPanel/Switchboard/Switchgear applications.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication design and DFM.
• Understanding of electrical schematics.
