Responsibilities
- Engineer mechanical parts, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs for electrical equipment orders.
- Provide engineering support and technical assistance on design feasibility.
- Assist in planning detailed product development objectives.
- Participate in reviewing results to ensure product performance.
- Standardize materials, components, and assemblies to minimize procurement and inventory.
- Learn product engineering basics while aiding in the development of new products.
- Collaborate with internal groups to support product development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience with ProE/Creo; recent graduates may be considered.
- Experience in product development or design.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Preferred experience with PowerPanel/Switchboard/Switchgear or similar products.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication design and DFM.
- Understanding of electrical schematics.
