Responsibilities
- Apply CAD to develop detailed drawings for enclosures and copper bussing per UL 1008 code.
- Build and maintain BOMs using product configurators (COMPAS) & ERP (SAP).
- Research internal libraries to support upgrades to legacy equipment.
- Support operations & field service teams with engineering-related questions.
- Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams to develop mechanical solutions.
- Maintain meticulous records of designs, BOMs, & procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with CAD software required: AutoCAD, Creo, Inventor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret physical drawings and system schematic one-line diagrams.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with different business teams.
- Proven organizational skills, including attention to detail and time management.
- Preferred knowledge of lean manufacturing and UL codes.
