Responsibilities
- Analyze product specifications and clarify requirements with R&D and Engineering teams.
- Develop modifications to increase production efficiency and contribute to re-engineering.
- Provide detailed information on product specifications and necessary components.
- Plan equipment layout and design manufacturing workflow in collaboration with other engineers.
- Analyze manufacturing sequences during pilot series and recommend product changes.
- Conduct improvement projects and liaise with engineering functions and vendors.
- Ensure appropriate process and product documentation is maintained.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering required.
- 8+ years of Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience in an assembly environment.
- Experience in improving safety, quality, delivery reliability, and cost in manufacturing.
- Ability to measure, design, and install production fixtures and equipment.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma manufacturing techniques required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with SAP or similar MRP systems.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
