Responsibilities
- Apply advanced analytical and simulation methodologies for mechanical and electromechanical systems design.
- Perform static, dynamic, kinematic, and vibration analyses for design support.
- Collaborate with engineers to define sensor and actuator specifications.
- Design and develop precision mechanical and mechatronic subsystems using CAD tools.
- Contribute to design characterization and verification activities.
- Support analytical and experimental work to enhance system reliability.
- Author documentation including design descriptions and test protocols.
Job Requirements
- PhD or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Minimum of 8 years of product development experience in a regulated industry.
- Strong background in analytical and simulation tools (MATLAB, SolidWorks, FEA).
- Deep understanding of DAQ systems, motion control, and control theory.
- Experience with system-level integration of electromechanical systems.
- Familiarity with DOE and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
