Responsibilities
- Define and execute the vision for next-generation aircraft avionics.
- Build, lead, and mentor an avionics engineering team.
- Drive the design of custom avionics hardware and support equipment.
- Integrate off-the-shelf hardware and manage future vertical integration.
- Establish and enforce design processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure system performance meets requirements and design expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with external partners.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a related field.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong technical fundamentals in avionics systems.
- Experience with custom electronics design and system-level integration.
- Familiarity with large platforms such as aircraft, rockets, or satellites.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
