Propulsion Engineering Spring Co-op (January 2026)

The Propulsion Engineering Co-op role is a hands-on internship aimed at rising graduates, focusing on the development and optimization of propulsion systems for V-BAT UAVs.

• Own a development project tailored to the co-op's start date and duration.
• Collaborate with engineers in the design, testing, and validation of propulsion components.
• Support the development of systems related to oil and fuel delivery, and thermal management for engines.
• Conduct data collection and performance analysis from engine and propeller tests.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of propulsion systems.
• Engage in design iterations and overall propulsion system integration.
• Gain exposure to combustion, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical design.

• Completed at least the 2nd year of Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong technical fundamentals.
• Experience in an engineering team/club, preferably related to propulsion.
• Proficiency with mechanical design software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks).
• Demonstrated ownership of project outcomes.
• Record of hard work and being a trustworthy teammate.
• Ability to hold oneself and others to high standards.
