Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the procurement, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical power systems.
- Collaborate with team leads on segments of the electrical power system.
- Develop power stabilization and system capacity improvement projects.
- Use analytical tools to optimize system capacity and improve equipment utilization.
- Review plans and specifications, coordinating with contractors and public agencies.
- Serve as a technical expert in electrical power systems engineering.
- Prepare specifications and evaluate bids for new equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Six years of progressively responsible electrical power systems engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer state licensure within the United States.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong business communication skills for writing and presentations.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Experience in substation equipment specifications and design.
