Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in the selection, procurement, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical power systems.
- Collaborate with team leads for system segments from generation to customer connection.
- Develop power stabilization and system capacity improvement projects.
- Use analytical tools to optimize system capacity and improve equipment utilization.
- Review plans, specifications, and coordinate with contractors and public agencies.
- Serve as a technical expert in electrical power systems engineering.
- Prepare specifications and evaluate bids for new equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Six years of progressively responsible experience in electrical power systems engineering.
- Professional Engineer state licensure within the United States.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and proficiency in business communication.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Experience in substation equipment specifications and design.
- Strong oral communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
