Responsibilities
- Lead corrective action teams and utilize quality tools to address quality issues.
- Develop, analyze, and verify process controls by reviewing customer specifications and drawings.
- Design, document, and implement inspection and testing methods.
- Improve plant quality performance and customer satisfaction through various process improvement techniques.
- Develop and maintain quality standards for processing materials.
- Support nonconformance documentation and the MRB disposition process.
- Conduct and report on internal audits.
Job Requirements
- BS degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering or related area in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with GD&T requirements and quality tools like FMEA and 8D.
- Experience in an ISO 9001 certified environment; AS9100 is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with machining and system integration/assembly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
